Everyone knows the feeling of having a changed perspective. You may have an inaccurate first impression of them when you meet. Perhaps something that you have found shocking, disgusting or amazing has become less extreme upon examination. Perspective can change whenever you look at something at a different angle, distance, or any way you have not done before. I once bought an "ancient" Egyptian cat statue online. When it finally arrived at my house I examined it and it appeared to be fake.

The book Zoom does an incredible job explaining the ways perspective can change the way things appear. It proves that looking at something from a different angle or distance can drastically change what you see. The inferences I made were always limited to just what I saw. My mind was not open to the possibility that there, perhaps may have been something larger. Every time I made an inference, the scene began to grow into something completely different.

In the field of science, perspective is a very important aspect. While some scientists are required to look at a limited space such as those who study small organisms and The tissue and DNA of animals, others must use prospective in their world such as those who study ecosystems and astrology. Since the universe is so incredibly large and perhaps infinite, No one can see the whole thing and while they may be examining just one thing, they must keep in mind its surroundings.

Jesse,
You did a nice job discussing perspective and bringing some personal experience to your essay. Excellent thoughts on the subject.
